Brian Duffy holds a number of voluntary posts arising from his knowledge and experience. Full details can be seen in the advisor profile section.

Outside of work, Brian Duffy has a passion for life and good health. Brian’s love of sport and fitness has enabled a cross over between his love of sports fitness and his passion for the The Irish Cancer Society a charity which helps countless numbers each year in Ireland. Current estimates state that 0n average, 43,500 people in Ireland are diagnosed with cancer each year (2020 – 45,753 new cases), and accounts for 30% of deaths each year in Ireland, making it the second highest cause of death in Ireland each year. The good news is that many people go on to live long lives after a diagnosis and according to The Irish Cancer Society, there are now more than 200,000 cancer survivors in Ireland.

Brian has completed the following marathons for charitable causes:

2007 ING New York Marathon for Croi West Of Ireland Cardiology Foundation
2008 Dublin City Marathon for the Alan Kerin’s Africa Project
2010 Flora London Marathon for the Irish Cancer society.
